Starry Night Poem

WALT recreate a famous artist's painting, while incorporating New Zealand Themes and Celebrations.

For this we had to recreate Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night Painting and we turned it into a Matariki painting including the Seven Stars of Matariki. After that we made a poem about stars and after we did that Mrs Lee took a picture of our Matariki paintings and we put it onto a google drawing and then put in our poem.

  1. Hello Siale,

It Nathan from Room 6, I like the picture of Matariki and of course your poem, All those big words you added in your poem was great. The font you use is a little hard to read I suggest to you is to make the text a little bigger and changing the font to something clearer to read.Other than that your poem is wonderful.

  2. Hi Siale,
This is amazing, I love this art and the poem that goes with it. I like the words that you have used in this poem. Something you could do better next time would be to change the font so the poem is more easy to read.

  3. Hi Siale,
I really like your blog post that you have posted.I really like all the colors that you used in your artwork.I also like all the good vocabulary that you used in your art. I also think it's pretty cool how you related your artwork and your words about Matariki. Maybe next time you could change the font because they were a bit hard to read, but other then that your work was amazing. Keep up the good work.
