SANTA I QUIT!!!

WALT practice letter writing skills.

Dear Santa,

It’s me Garland GingerFluff I just needed to say something to you, I’m quitting my job today. I am sick and tired of making hundreds of presents while you are just sitting there eating your milk and cookies. Also why doesn’t my sister Gingersnap GingerFluff not need to do any work, I know she’s your favorite don’t try and hide that. If you really want me to stay or you still want me to be your elf I have a few requests that you will have to change in order for me to stay, you will have to make the presents with us and if you don’t know how to do that, that will be easy we will just teach you how to. Also you have to let me have a break for a year while my sister replaces me. The last requirement that I want is for you to let me ride your sleigh and do HUGE loop de loops in the sky.

Thank You Very Much And Goodbye,
Garland GingerFluff

  1. Hey Siale,

This is Jade C from the Summer Learning Journey blogging team 2017-2018. I will be blogging with you this summer! I hope you are having a wonderful time with your friends and your family!

I think Garland Gingerfluff is very angry at Santa Clause! It sounds like Garland is doing a lot of extra work that others need to do! Santa is very unfair isn't he? This is a very persuasive letter and I also feel sorry for Garland!
I would love to read more of your writing Siale!

I would love to blog with you! To help you get started with blogging this summer, I have included the link to our Summer Learning Journey activities list.

3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
