SANTA I QUIT!!!

WALT practice letter writing skills.

Dear Santa,

It’s me Garland GingerFluff I just needed to say something to you, I’m quitting my job today. I am sick and tired of making hundreds of presents while you are just sitting there eating your milk and cookies. Also why doesn’t my sister Gingersnap GingerFluff not need to do any work, I know she’s your favorite don’t try and hide that. If you really want me to stay or you still want me to be your elf I have a few requests that you will have to change in order for me to stay, you will have to make the presents with us and if you don’t know how to do that, that will be easy we will just teach you how to. Also you have to let me have a break for a year while my sister replaces me. The last requirement that I want is for you to let me ride your sleigh and do HUGE loop de loops in the sky.

Thank You Very Much And Goodbye,
Garland GingerFluff

Showing Respect

WALT show respect in different situations.

Our school has been learning about respect. Every Monday we go to the Church and Mr Norman our principal teaches us more about Respect and how to show it, and when we come back to class we then write ways of how to show Respect in different situations. Our school has 4 Values. The final value is Respect.

Amazing Horse Poem.

WALT write a poem about our favorite animal

Animal Poem By Siale Baker

I Like Horses

I like them.
Ask me why?
Because they are always really cheeky,
Because they are adorable in a lot of ways,
Because they are swift and great to ride on,
Because they chomp on carrots,
Because their coats are smooth and softer than ever,
Because their powerful and won’t give up,
Because they always like to play,
Because they're gonna get their way,
Because.
Because.
That’s why I like Horses.

Uru Manuka Challenge

WALT create a logo for the Uru Manuka cluster.

What did you do? The thing that we did was that Mark told us that Uru Manuka was a cluster and a bunch of schools were in it and that the name came from a Manuka Tree and the reason why they called it Uru Manuka was because the tree was protecting the seeds who were growing.

I chose to put a flower on my logo because there flowers that grow for m the Manuka tree and I also put in trees because it is a Manuka tree, aanother thing that I put in was kids learning a man teaching them and the reason why i put that is because Uru Manuka is about learning new things.
